Sunu\u015flarla ba\u015flayan gecede \u00f6nce \u0130zle-Tart\u0131\u015f etkinli\u011finin tarihinden ve anlam\u0131ndan bahsedildi, ard\u0131ndan ise film tan\u0131t\u0131larak LGBT\u0130+ m\u00fccadelesine de\u011finildi.<br>1970&#8217;lerde Amerika&#8217;n\u0131n se\u00e7imle gelen ilk homoseks\u00fcel politikac\u0131s\u0131 olan Harvey Milk&#8217;in hayat\u0131n\u0131 anlatan film, sava\u015f sonras\u0131 homoseks\u00fcel oldu\u011fu i\u00e7in askerden &#8220;onursuz ihra\u00e7&#8221; edilen homoseks\u00fcellerin g\u00f6rece rahat ya\u015fayabildi\u011fi San Francisco&#8217;ya ak\u0131n etmesiyle \u015fehirde ya\u015fananlar\u0131n, hareketin lideri konumuna gelen Milk&#8217;in perspektifinden bir \u00f6zeti niteli\u011findeydi. Bir yanda ABD&#8217;nin geleneksel yap\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n LGBT\u0130+ harekete kar\u015f\u0131 aktif bir kampanya y\u00fcr\u00fctt\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc, di\u011fer yanda ise bu hareketin kendi i\u00e7inde nas\u0131l \u00f6rg\u00fctlendi\u011fini, Harvey Milk&#8217;in San Francisco parlamentosuna se\u00e7ildikten sonra i\u00e7ine d\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc\u011f\u00fc a\u00e7mazlar\u0131 ve \u00e7\u0131kmaz sokaklar\u0131 g\u00f6zler \u00f6n\u00fcne seren etkileyici bir yap\u0131m Milk.<br>Film ertesi s\u00f6yle\u015fide ise filmin \u00e7e\u015fitli noksanl\u0131klar\u0131, kritik olarak da filmin perspektifinde pek rastlanmayan ortak toplumsal krizler ve LGBT\u0130+ hareketinin bunlarla kurdu\u011fu n\u00fcansl\u0131 ili\u015fkinin eksikli\u011fi konu\u015fuldu.
