Ba\u015flang\u0131\u00e7ta laik s\u00f6zc\u00fc\u011f\u00fc \u201cruhban s\u0131n\u0131f\u0131 d\u0131\u015f\u0131ndaki halk\u201d\u0131 i\u015faret ederken Frans\u0131z ihtilalinden sonra \u201chalk egemenli\u011fi\u201d kavram\u0131n\u0131 \u00e7a\u011fr\u0131\u015ft\u0131rarak kitlelerde olumlu bir yank\u0131 bulmu\u015ftur. Ne ilgin\u00e7tir ki, laik s\u00f6zc\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fcn ge\u00e7ti\u011fi ilk slogan \u201czorunlu, paras\u0131z, laik e\u011fitim\u201d ifadesidir.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toplumlar gibi laiklik de dura\u011fan de\u011fil dinamik oldu\u011fundan, laikli\u011fin kapsam\u0131 hakk\u0131nda evrensel ve herkes\u00e7e benimsenen bir tan\u0131m yapmak m\u00fcmk\u00fcn de\u011fildir. Yine de bu yaz\u0131 ba\u011flam\u0131nda i\u015flevsel olabilecek birka\u00e7 tan\u0131m yapacak olursak;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYasama ve yarg\u0131 erklerinin dinsel ilkelere g\u00f6re d\u00fczenlenmedi\u011fi siyasal \u00f6rg\u00fctlenme bi\u00e7imidir. Siyasal otoritenin me\u015frulu\u011funu dine dayand\u0131rmamas\u0131, devletin \u00e7e\u015fitli dinler aras\u0131nda taraf tutmamas\u0131 ve ayr\u0131cal\u0131k g\u00f6zetmemesidir.\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Laiklik, \u201cne sadece ibadet ve inan\u00e7 \u00f6zg\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcd\u00fcr, ne de sadece din ve devlet i\u015flerinin birbirinden ayr\u0131lmas\u0131d\u0131r. Onun temel bir amac\u0131 daha vard\u0131r. O da toplumu ve bireyi dinlerin ve ideolojilerin sald\u0131r\u0131lar\u0131ndan korumakt\u0131r. Laiklik, toplumsal akl\u0131n \u015fartlanmas\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6nleyen bir tutum, bir ilkedir.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Laiklik, \u201cbilime, \u00f6zg\u00fcr akla ve akl\u0131n insanlar\u0131 birle\u015ftirici g\u00fcc\u00fcne \u00f6ncelik tan\u0131mak isteyen bir ak\u0131md\u0131r. Toplum ve devlet ya\u015fam\u0131n\u0131n akla ve bilime dayand\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131d\u0131r.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tan\u0131mlar \u00e7o\u011falt\u0131labilir ama \u00f6nemli olan laikli\u011fi ne \u015fekilde ifade etti\u011fimizden ziyade onu, \u00fclkemizde nas\u0131l bir y\u00f6ntemle koruyup geli\u015ftirece\u011fimizdir. Zira okullar\u0131m\u0131za dahi sirayet eden gericilik kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131nda, sa\u011fc\u0131s\u0131ndan solcusuna, yedisinden yetmi\u015fine, b\u00fcy\u00fck halk kitlelerinin laikli\u011fe sahip \u00e7\u0131kma \u00e7abas\u0131n\u0131, meydanlar\u0131 dolduran onbinlerde g\u00f6rd\u00fck. Ne var ki bu kitlenin hat\u0131r\u0131 say\u0131l\u0131r bir k\u0131sm\u0131 i\u00e7in laikli\u011fin toplumsal ve s\u0131n\u0131fsal y\u00f6n\u00fcn\u00fcn pek de \u00f6n planda oldu\u011funu s\u00f6yleyemeyiz.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Basit bir yakla\u015f\u0131mla \u201cdin ve devlet i\u015flerinin ayr\u0131lmas\u0131\u201d \u015feklindeki bir laiklik savunusu, devlet i\u015flerinin alan\u0131na girmeyen her \u015feyi dinsel alana teslim eder. Toplumsal ya\u015fam\u0131n pek \u00e7ok boyutunda dini unsurlar \u201cihtiya\u00e7\u201d, \u201c\u00f6zg\u00fcrl\u00fck\u201d veya \u201c\u00e7ok k\u00fclt\u00fcrl\u00fcl\u00fck\u201d s\u00f6ylemleriyle yay\u0131l\u0131rken (misal; tenis kursu ile Kuran kursu bir tutulurken),&nbsp; zamanla devlete de n\u00fcfuz eden siyasalla\u015fm\u0131\u015f bir din ile kar\u015f\u0131 kar\u015f\u0131ya kalmak ka\u00e7\u0131n\u0131lmazd\u0131r. \u0130lahiyat Koleji\u2019nin a\u00e7\u0131lmas\u0131, Din \u0130\u015fleri Dairesi\u2019nin geni\u015fletilmesi, yeterli okul yokken cami, hastane yokken K\u00fclliye yap\u0131lmas\u0131, orta \u00f6\u011fretimde t\u00fcrbana izin verilmesi ve dualarla Y\u00fcksek Mahkeme\u2019nin temelinin at\u0131lmas\u0131 gibi \u00f6rnekler, geri d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fc kolay olmayacak kritik bir e\u015fikte bulundu\u011fumuzun g\u00f6stergeleridir. Karanl\u0131\u011fa teslim olmak istemeyenler, b\u00fct\u00fcn iyi niyetleriyle m\u00fccadele verseler de sebepleri g\u00f6rmezden gelip sonu\u00e7lara odaklanmak bizi ger\u00e7ek bir laikli\u011fe ula\u015ft\u0131ramayacakt\u0131r.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Halk\u0131n g\u00fcnl\u00fck sorunlar\u0131n\u0131 payla\u015fmayan, bu sorunlara \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcmler \u00f6nermeyen, halk\u0131 kendi g\u00fcnl\u00fck sorunlar\u0131n\u0131n \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm\u00fcnde \u00f6zne haline d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcrmeyen hi\u00e7bir siyasal model, g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde y\u00fckselen gericili\u011fin kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131nda ger\u00e7ek\u00e7i bir alternatif olamaz. Din, \u00e7o\u011fu durumda \u00e7aresizlikten ka\u00e7\u0131\u015f ve avunma arac\u0131d\u0131r. Kitlelerin \u00e7aresiz hissetti\u011fi durumlara m\u00fcdahale edilmesi, dinsel gericili\u011fin yay\u0131lma alan\u0131na da m\u00fcdahale edilmesi anlam\u0131na gelecektir. \u00d6rne\u011fin, uzun \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma saatlerinden ve \u00f6zel okullar\u0131n pahal\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan dolay\u0131, yaz aylar\u0131nda \u00e7ocu\u011funu gerici kurslara g\u00f6nderen bir aileye, bilim ve sanatla dolu \u00fccretsiz bir imk\u00e2n sunulmas\u0131, gelece\u011fimiz i\u00e7in \u00f6nemli bir yat\u0131r\u0131md\u0131r. Sendikas\u0131z ve g\u00fcvencesiz \u00e7al\u0131\u015fan emek\u00e7ilerin, bir sendikada \u00f6rg\u00fctlenebilmesi hem dayan\u0131\u015fma bilincini hem de ekonomik haklar\u0131 ilerletecek, emek\u00e7ileri daha refah ve ayd\u0131n bir noktaya ta\u015f\u0131yabilecektir. Ultra zenginlerden servet vergisi al\u0131nmas\u0131, e\u011fitim, sa\u011fl\u0131k, kad\u0131n s\u0131\u011f\u0131nma evi, toplu ta\u015f\u0131ma gibi baz\u0131 kamusal ihtiya\u00e7lar\u0131n nitelikli ve \u00fccretsiz kar\u015f\u0131lanmas\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flayabilecektir. Yaln\u0131zl\u0131\u011fa ve \u00e7aresizli\u011fe mahk\u00fbm edilen kitlelerin sosyal devletin g\u00fc\u00e7lenmesiyle g\u00fcvenceli ya\u015famas\u0131, dinsel ba\u011fnazl\u0131\u011fa de\u011fil bilime ve ger\u00e7e\u011fe yakla\u015fmalar\u0131 anlam\u0131na gelecektir.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mevcut durumda bilim, sermayedarlar\u0131n k\u00e2r oranlar\u0131n\u0131 artt\u0131rmak, s\u00f6m\u00fcr\u00fc y\u00f6ntemlerini geli\u015ftirmek ve zenginlerin hayat\u0131n\u0131 kolayla\u015ft\u0131rmak i\u00e7in kullan\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. \u0130\u015fbu halde yoksullar\u0131n pay\u0131na d\u00fc\u015fen ise din olmaktad\u0131r. Dolay\u0131s\u0131ya laiklik m\u00fccadelesi, bilimin emek\u00e7i halka hizmet etmesi, bilimsel imk\u00e2n ve geli\u015fmelerin halk\u0131n g\u00fcnl\u00fck sorunlar\u0131n\u0131n \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm\u00fcnde bir ara\u00e7 k\u0131l\u0131nabilmesi i\u00e7in \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmay\u0131 da gerektirir.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E\u011fitimin dinselle\u015ftirilmesi; e\u011fitimin piyasala\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131n\u0131n, i\u015f hayat\u0131ndaki s\u00f6m\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcn, do\u011fa talan\u0131n\u0131n kitlesel deste\u011finin in\u015faa edilmesinin, kad\u0131n d\u00fc\u015fmanl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n ortak arac\u0131d\u0131r. Dolay\u0131s\u0131yla paras\u0131z ve bilimsel e\u011fitim hakk\u0131, g\u00fcvenceli ve sendikal\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma hakk\u0131, \u00e7evre hakk\u0131, cinsiyet ve cinsel y\u00f6nelimlere sayg\u0131 gibi taleplerle geli\u015fen t\u00fcm halk hareketleri, e\u011fitimin dinselle\u015ftirilmesine kar\u015f\u0131 m\u00fccadeleyi i\u00e7ermek zorundad\u0131r.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E\u011fitim, sa\u011fl\u0131k, su, enerji gibi her t\u00fcrl\u00fc insan hakk\u0131n\u0131n piyasaya a\u00e7\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131, bir yandan emek ve do\u011fa s\u00f6m\u00fcr\u00fcs\u00fcn\u00fcn \u00f6te yandan yoksullu\u011fun katlanarak artt\u0131\u011f\u0131, \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma ya\u015fam\u0131n\u0131n kurals\u0131zla\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131, kad\u0131nlar\u0131n toplum d\u0131\u015f\u0131na itildi\u011fi g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcz ko\u015fullar\u0131nda, kitlelerin sisteme duyabilecekleri \u00f6fkeyi \u00f6teleyen, onlar\u0131 tevekk\u00fcle y\u00f6nlendiren, bask\u0131 ve korkuyla y\u00f6neten bu d\u00fczen, a\u00e7\u0131k\u00e7a sermayenin i\u015fine yaramaktad\u0131r.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>H\u00fclasa, laikli\u011fi savunurken, din ve devlet i\u015flerinin birbirinden ayr\u0131lmas\u0131yla yetinmemek ve dinin, toplumda yayg\u0131nla\u015fmas\u0131na sebep olan unsurlar\u0131 do\u011fru tahlil etmek gerekiyor.
