\u201cBaranga\u201d isminde bir yay\u0131nevi kuruldu\u011funu \u015fa\u015f\u0131rarak \u00f6\u011frenmi\u015f bulunuyoruz. \u00d6ncelikle, bu yay\u0131nevinin ve basaca\u011f\u0131 eserlerin, \u00fclkemiz yaz\u0131n ve edebiyat\u0131na, yazar ve okurlara hay\u0131rl\u0131 olmas\u0131n\u0131 temenni ederiz. Ancak se\u00e7ilen isim konusundaki hayretimizi ve ele\u015ftirimizi de gerek yay\u0131nevi sahipleriyle gerekse de kamuoyuyla payla\u015fma sorumlulu\u011fu duymaktay\u0131z.<\/p>\n

Baraka, 18 y\u0131ld\u0131r k\u00fclt\u00fcr-sanat alan\u0131nda \u00e7e\u015fitli faaliyetler ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftiren; m\u00fczik grubuyla onlarca konser veren ve 3 alb\u00fcm \u00fcreten, tiyatro ekipleriyle onlarca oyun ile binlerce seyirciye ula\u015fan, 15 y\u0131ld\u0131r kesintisiz \u00e7\u0131kard\u0131\u011f\u0131 dergisi ile s\u00fcreli yay\u0131nc\u0131l\u0131kta bir rekora imza atan, d\u00f6rt kitap basan, yaz aylar\u0131nda \u00e7ocuklar i\u00e7in \u00fccretsiz kurslar d\u00fczenleyen, sinema ve belgesel alanlar\u0131nda \u00fcretimleri bulunan ve t\u00fcm bunlar\u0131n yan\u0131 s\u0131ra yarat\u0131c\u0131 politik eylemleriyle toplumsal muhalefete ad\u0131n\u0131 yazd\u0131ran bir dernektir. Baraka ismi, sadece bir dernek tabelas\u0131ndan ibaret olmay\u0131p, uzun y\u0131lar i\u00e7erisinde, d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnsel ve fiziksel emek harcayan, maddi ve manevi \u00f6zverisi ile onu var eden pek \u00e7ok aktivistin ve dernek \u00fcyesinin kimli\u011fidir. Ayr\u0131ca bu isim zikredildi\u011finde, sadece k\u00fclt\u00fcrel faaliyetler de\u011fil sol ad\u0131na kendine \u00f6zg\u00fc denilebilecek bir tak\u0131m ilkeler de akla gelmektedir. Bar\u0131\u015f, halklar\u0131n karde\u015fli\u011fi, adam\u0131z\u0131n her iki yan\u0131ndaki devletlere ele\u015ftirel yakla\u015fmak, kapitalizm ve emperyalizm kar\u015f\u0131tl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n yan\u0131 s\u0131ra AB, BM ve t\u00fcrevi olan fonlardan maddi katk\u0131 almamak, kendi halk\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6z g\u00fcc\u00fcne dayanarak varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00fcrd\u00fcrmek, postmodern ve liberal soldan kendini kesin \u00e7izgilerle ay\u0131rmak Baraka\u2019n\u0131n olmazsa olmazlar\u0131d\u0131r.
\nHal b\u00f6yleyken bar\u0131\u015f ad\u0131na kurulan bir yay\u0131nevinin isminde b\u00f6ylesi bir benzerli\u011fe gidilmi\u015f olmas\u0131n\u0131, bar\u0131\u015f\u0131 olu\u015fturan temel de\u011ferlerden olan eme\u011fe sayg\u0131 anlam\u0131nda yanl\u0131\u015f buldu\u011fumuzu belirtmek isteriz. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc bar\u0131\u015f yay\u0131nc\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131, her \u015feyden \u00f6nce eme\u011fe sayg\u0131y\u0131 ve etik de\u011ferlere ba\u011fl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 gerektirir. Yay\u0131nc\u0131l\u0131k, taklit\u00e7ilikten uzak durmay\u0131 gerektiren, yarat\u0131c\u0131l\u0131k isteyen, \u00fcretkenlik gerektiren zor bir i\u015ftir. Yeni kurulan bir yay\u0131nevi i\u00e7in yarat\u0131c\u0131 ve \u00fcretken beyinlerin bulabilece\u011fi onlarca isim varken, 18 y\u0131ld\u0131r halk\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n her g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015ften kesimi taraf\u0131ndan bilinen derne\u011fimizin isminin halk a\u011fz\u0131nda kullan\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 bi\u00e7imi olan Baranga ad\u0131n\u0131n se\u00e7ilmesi ise olduk\u00e7a manidard\u0131r
\nBaraka, adam\u0131z\u0131n kuzeyinde oldu\u011fu gibi g\u00fcneyinde de belli bir fikriyat\u0131 temsil etmekte ve geni\u015f kitleler nezdinde bilinmektedir. Y\u0131llarca verilen emekle bu ismin yaratt\u0131\u011f\u0131 iddial\u0131 ve pozitif alg\u0131n\u0131n, hen\u00fcz kurulan bir i\u015fletme i\u00e7in kullan\u0131lmak istenmesini haks\u0131zl\u0131k olarak nitelendiriyor ve yay\u0131nevi yetkililerini yol yak\u0131nken isimlerini de\u011fi\u015ftirmeye davet ediyoruz.
\nBaranga Yay\u0131nevi\u2019nin yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 veya yapmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 herhangi bir \u015feyden sorumlu tutulmamam\u0131z ve yaratabilece\u011fi isim kar\u0131\u015f\u0131kl\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7in \u015fimdiden Baraka dostlar\u0131na ve kamuoyuna bu a\u00e7\u0131klamay\u0131 yapmay\u0131 gerekli g\u00f6rmekteyiz.<\/p>\n

Baraka is more than just a name<\/b>
\nWe have come to learn that a publishing house called \u201cBaranga\u201d has been established. First of all, we hope that every piece published through this publisher is to be another achievement for the literature of our country\u00a0including the readers and the authors. However, we own the responsibility to share our bewilderment and criticism with the owners of the publishing house and the public.
\nBaraka is an association that has ben active in culture and arts field for eighteen years. Its band has performed in many concerts and recorded three albums, theatre groups reached and performed for thousands of audiences, journal has the record for being published for the longest consecutive period, while it organises free summer courses for children in last 6 years. Baraka also published four books, it had produced work within the field of cinematography and documentary and beside all of this, it has build its significant position in social opposition through its creative and politic protests.
\nBaraka is more than just a name on a nameplate though the name has become an identity for its activists and members over their ideological and physical actions and their financial and moral devotion. The name also evokes significant and distinctive principals for leftist ideology. It is essential for Baraka to underline peace and brother\/sisterhood of the people, criticise the states on both sides, stand against capitalism and imperialism as well as refuse to be funded by EU, UN and its derivatives and continue its existence through the core strength of its own society. Thus finally, it is vital for Baraka to separate itself with significant distinction from the postmodern and liberal left ideological view.
\nWith all of the above being stated, a publisher choosing such a similar name that is established to contribute to the peace within the island is believed to be wrong. Because it is against the value of respect for labour which is the ground value for building peace. Becoming a publisher is tough for it requires not to imitate, be creative and productive. Having so many options to choose a name for creative and productive minds, it is noteworthy to choose \u201cBaranga\u201d, the commonly used name within the society for \u201cBaraka\u201d which is know by every member of society whose social and political views vary broadly.
\nBaraka represents a specific opinion politically and socially and is known for it on both sides of the island. Choosing the name that is built after years of effort to benefit from its assertive and positive image is unjust. Thus we are inviting the officials of the publishing house to change the name when it is still newly established.
\nWe feel the necessity to inform the public that we are under no responsibility for any taken or non-taken actions of Baranga publishing house and in doing so, to eliminate any possible misunderstanding arising from the similarity between the names.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
