Kedili videolar, emekli abilerin atarl\u0131 sokak r\u00f6portajlar\u0131, siyasilerin gaflar\u0131, bilgi i\u00e7erikli reelsler, haber kesitleri ve gidemedi\u011fimiz \u00fclkelerin i\u00e7 \u00e7ektiren manzara g\u00f6rselleri derken telefonunuzu b\u0131rakt\u0131n\u0131z. Bu s\u00fcre\u00e7te \u00e7ok h\u0131zl\u0131ca d\u00fcnyada olan bitenden haberiniz olurken biraz g\u00fcld\u00fcn\u00fcz biraz da bilgilendiniz. Merak etmeyin bunu yapan sadece siz de\u011filsiniz. Hayat \u00e7ok h\u0131zl\u0131 ak\u0131yor ve \u00e7\u0131lg\u0131n t\u00fcketim \u00e7a\u011f\u0131nda hayat\u0131 da bilgiyi de \u00e7abucak \u00f6\u011frenmemiz gerekti\u011fi alg\u0131s\u0131yla ya\u015f\u0131yoruz. Bu y\u00fczdendir ki kitap, gazete, makale vb. yaz\u0131l\u0131 kaynaklardan uzakla\u015f\u0131p g\u00f6rsel unsurlara y\u00f6neliyoruz. Hem yaz\u0131l\u0131 kaynaklardan bir \u015feyler \u00f6\u011frenmekle vakit kaybetmek istemiyoruz hem de g\u00f6rsel materyallerden \u00f6\u011frenmek daha kolay\u0131m\u0131za geliyor. Peki \u00e7a\u011f\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n ink\u00e2r edilemeyecek bu \u00f6zelli\u011fi, bireysel ve toplumsal olarak bize nas\u0131l katk\u0131 sa\u011fl\u0131yor ya da ne \u015fekilde zarar veriyor? Bu sorunun cevab\u0131n\u0131 hep birlikte d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnmeden \u00f6nce yaz\u0131l\u0131 k\u00fclt\u00fcrden g\u00f6rsel k\u00fclt\u00fcre ge\u00e7i\u015fe hatta daha da \u00f6ncesine; s\u00f6zl\u00fc k\u00fclt\u00fcrden bug\u00fcne kadarki tarihsel s\u00fcrece h\u0131zl\u0131ca bir g\u00f6z atal\u0131m.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kulaktan k\u00e2\u011f\u0131da<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yaz\u0131n\u0131n hen\u00fcz bulunmad\u0131\u011f\u0131, &#8220;tarih \u00f6ncesi&#8221; denen \u00e7a\u011flarda insanlar birbirleriyle ve nesilden nesile bilgi aktar\u0131m\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6zl\u00fc k\u00fclt\u00fcr arac\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131yla ve duvarlara resimler \u00e7izerek yapmaktayd\u0131 yapmaktayd\u0131. Destanlar, hik\u00e2yeler, mitler, \u015fark\u0131lar ve \u015fiirler toplumun k\u00fclt\u00fcrel de\u011ferlerini, kimliklerini, tarihsel olaylar\u0131 i\u00e7erirdi ve tarihin ilerleyen d\u00f6nemlerine s\u00f6zl\u00fc bir \u015fekilde aktar\u0131l\u0131rd\u0131. Yaz\u0131n\u0131n bulunmas\u0131n\u0131n ard\u0131ndan toplumlar\u0131n g\u00fcnl\u00fck ya\u015fant\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131 yaz\u0131l\u0131 bir \u015fekilde kay\u0131t alt\u0131na alma ihtiyac\u0131 da do\u011fdu. \u201cTar\u0131m toplumuyla birlikte artan i\u015fb\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc ve \u00fcr\u00fcn de\u011fi\u015fimi, \u00f6nce \u00e7entiklerle, \u015fekillerle bir ileti\u015fim kurmay\u0131 gerektirdi. Sonra seslere harf dedi\u011fimiz simgeler yoluyla anlam verilmeye ba\u015fland\u0131.\u201d(*) B\u00f6ylelikle unutulma ihtimali olan s\u00f6zl\u00fc k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcn yerine daha kal\u0131c\u0131 ve aktar\u0131c\u0131 olan yaz\u0131l\u0131 k\u00fclt\u00fcr olu\u015fmaya ba\u015flad\u0131. Burada s\u00f6zl\u00fc k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcn yok olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131, varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 devam ettirdi\u011fini de belirtmek gerek.<\/p>\n<p><strong>K\u00e2\u011f\u0131ttan g\u00f6ze<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Uzun y\u0131llar boyunca yaz\u0131l\u0131 kaynaklar daha \u00e7ok toplumlar\u0131 y\u00f6netenler taraf\u0131ndan kullan\u0131l\u0131rken yazma-okuma becerisi olmayan toplumun \u00e7o\u011funlu\u011fu, s\u00f6zl\u00fc k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fc kullanmaya devam etti. \u201c\u00dcretim s\u00fcrecinin gittik\u00e7e pozitif bilgiyi gerekli k\u0131lmas\u0131, \u00fcretim ili\u015fkilerine ve meta dola\u015f\u0131m\u0131na paralel olarak toplumsal ili\u015fkilerin daha bir geli\u015fmesi, devletin askeri ve b\u00fcrokratik b\u00fcy\u00fcmesi yaz\u0131l\u0131 k\u00fclt\u00fcre olan insan ihtiyac\u0131n\u0131 art\u0131rd\u0131. Egemenlerle s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131 olan yaz\u0131l\u0131 k\u00fclt\u00fcr, e\u011fitim kurumlar\u0131 yoluyla a\u015fa\u011f\u0131 do\u011fru yayg\u0131nla\u015fmaya ba\u015flad\u0131. \u0130\u015f\u00e7i makinay\u0131 kullanmas\u0131n\u0131, asker t\u00fcfe\u011fi ve topu kullanmas\u0131n\u0131 bilmek i\u00e7in yaz\u0131y\u0131 da bilmeliydi.\u201d(*) Matbaa\u2019n\u0131n 15. y\u00fczy\u0131lda yayg\u0131n kullan\u0131lmaya ba\u015flamas\u0131yla birlikte ise yaz\u0131l\u0131 kaynaklar\u0131n b\u00fcy\u00fck miktarlarda kopyalanabilmesi ve kitlesel \u00f6l\u00e7eklerde da\u011f\u0131t\u0131labilmesi sa\u011flanm\u0131\u015f, bilgiye eri\u015fim kolayla\u015fm\u0131\u015f ve yaz\u0131l\u0131 k\u00fclt\u00fcr b\u00f6ylelikle ileriye ta\u015f\u0131nm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Sanayi Devrimi\u2019nin yaratt\u0131\u011f\u0131 makinele\u015fme ve \u00f6zellikle son y\u00fczy\u0131lda ya\u015fanan ileti\u015fim ara\u00e7lar\u0131ndaki ve bilgisayar teknolojilerindeki geli\u015fmelerle birlikte g\u00f6rsel k\u00fclt\u00fcr olu\u015fmaya ba\u015flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Foto\u011fraf, sinema, televizyon, sosyal medya gibi g\u00f6rselli\u011fin \u00f6n planda oldu\u011fu ve i\u015fitselli\u011fin (m\u00fczik, konu\u015fmalar vb.) de kullan\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 ara\u00e7lar hayat\u0131m\u0131zda b\u00fcy\u00fck yer edinmeye ba\u015flad\u0131.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ger\u00e7ekten g\u00f6r\u00fcyor muyuz?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yaz\u0131l\u0131 kaynaklar\u0131n alg\u0131lanabilmesi okuma-yazma becerisini gerektirdi\u011finden, bu beceriyi edinen insanl\u0131k analitik d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnme ve sorgulama yetilerini de elde edebiliyor. Bir konuyu detayl\u0131 bir \u015fekilde ara\u015ft\u0131rmam\u0131za yol a\u00e7an yaz\u0131l\u0131 kaynaklar g\u00fcvenilir limanlar\u0131m\u0131z oluyor. G\u00f6rsel k\u00fclt\u00fcr ise yaz\u0131l\u0131 kaynaklara oranla daha fazla dezenformasyona ve \u00f6zellikle insanlar\u0131n alg\u0131lar\u0131na sald\u0131r\u0131ya sebep olabiliyor. H\u0131zl\u0131 t\u00fcketmek derdinde olan insan, g\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc imgenin kendisinde yaratt\u0131\u011f\u0131 ilk izlenimi kabullenebilir. Mesela televizyon, egemenlerin toplumlar \u00fczerinde istedikleri alg\u0131y\u0131 yaratabilmelerinin en b\u00fcy\u00fck arac\u0131d\u0131r. Egemen ideolojiyi savunan, kar\u015f\u0131t g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015f\u00fc d\u00fc\u015fmanla\u015ft\u0131ran haber ve tart\u0131\u015fma programlar\u0131, muhafazak\u00e2r ve ataerkil karakterlerin parlat\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 diziler, insanlar\u0131n zevk almak amac\u0131yla izledi\u011fi ama bunu yaparken de fark\u0131nda olmadan manip\u00fcle edildi\u011fi ara\u00e7lard\u0131r. Bir roman\u0131 okuyup zihnimizde canland\u0131rmak yerine filmini seyretmek i\u015fin kolay\u0131 olurken filimde bize dayat\u0131lmak istenen ideolojinin fark\u0131na varamayabiliriz. Tabii ki her d\u00f6nemin egemen k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fc topluma egemen olanlar\u0131n ideolojisi ile \u015fekllendi\u011finden, g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcz postmodern \u00e7a\u011f\u0131nda yaz\u0131l\u0131 kaynaklar da egemenlerin ideolojisini yans\u0131tmak \u00fczerinden yarat\u0131labilir ya da \u015fekillendirilebilir. Bununla beraber yaz\u0131l\u0131 k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcn bize \u00f6\u011fretti\u011fi sorgulat\u0131c\u0131 y\u00f6n, g\u00f6rsel k\u00fclt\u00fcrde daha az bulunmaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>G\u00f6rsel k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcn bizlerin \u00fcst\u00fcnde yaratabilece\u011fi olumsuz durumlar saymakla bitmez. \u00d6te yandan topluma faydas\u0131 olabilecek yanlar\u0131na da bakmak laz\u0131m. G\u00f6rsel k\u00fclt\u00fcr ara\u00e7lar\u0131n\u0131n geli\u015fmesiyle birlikte egemen ideolojinin ele ge\u00e7irdi\u011fi kitlesel medya ara\u00e7lar\u0131na alternatifler yaratabiliyoruz. Kendi s\u00f6z\u00fcm\u00fcz\u00fc, fikrimizi sosyal medya ara\u00e7lar\u0131n\u0131 kullanarak yayabiliriz. Bir\u00e7ok yaz\u0131l\u0131 kayna\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6rsel ara\u00e7larla topluma ula\u015ft\u0131rabiliriz. D\u00fcnyan\u0131n herhangi bir yerinde halklar\u0131n ya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131 sorunu h\u0131zl\u0131ca \u00f6\u011frenebilir, bunu bir nevi deneyimleyebilir ya da onlarla uzaktan da olsa dayan\u0131\u015fabiliriz. Son y\u0131llarda geli\u015fen yapay zek\u00e2 arac\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131yla bir \u00e7ok bilgiye h\u0131zl\u0131ca eri\u015febiliyor; bir videonun montaj\u0131n\u0131, bir g\u00f6rselin d\u00fczenlemesini h\u0131zl\u0131ca yapabilmeye ba\u015fl\u0131yoruz. G\u00f6rsel k\u00fclt\u00fcre verdi\u011fimiz a\u011f\u0131rl\u0131k bu alan\u0131n daha fazla geli\u015febilece\u011fi ger\u00e7e\u011fini bize sunuyor. Mesela bir yapay zek\u00e2 da \u015fu an okudu\u011funuz konuyla ilgili bir makale yazabilir.
