Bunun, d\u00fcnya ve \u00fclkemiz edebiyat\u0131nda \u00e7e\u015fitli \u00f6rnekleri olmakla birlikte bu yaz\u0131da daha ziyade \u0130ngiliz Edebiyat\u0131\u2019na odaklan\u0131lacakt\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>\u0130ngiliz Edebiyat\u0131\u2019n\u0131n \u00f6nemli isimlerinden Virginia Woolf, 1929 y\u0131l\u0131nda kaleme ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u201cKendine Ait Bir Oda\u201d eserinde kad\u0131nlar\u0131n edebiyat alan\u0131ndaki ikincil konumlar\u0131n\u0131 ve bunun nedenlerini incelemi\u015ftir. Bu konuyu irdeleyen ilk modernist eser olan bu metinde yazar, kad\u0131n\u0131n edebiyat d\u00fcnyas\u0131nda kendine yer a\u00e7mas\u0131n\u0131n ko\u015fullar\u0131n\u0131 ve neden \u00f6tekile\u015ftirildi\u011fini tart\u0131\u015fmaya a\u00e7m\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. 18. ve 19. y\u00fczy\u0131lda erkek egemen edebiyat d\u00fcnyas\u0131nda yer edinmek ve ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 olmak kad\u0131n yazarlar i\u00e7in d\u00f6nemin ekonomik ve toplumsal ko\u015fullar\u0131nda ciddi zorluklar bar\u0131nd\u0131r\u0131yordu. Erkekler gerek fiziksel gerekse de zek\u00e2 anlam\u0131nda kad\u0131nlardan daha nitelikli g\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcyordu. Toplumsal dayatmalara g\u00f6re kad\u0131nlara bi\u00e7ilen rol ev i\u00e7erisine hapsedilmekti. Para kazanmak i\u00e7in \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmak zorunda olan ve yorgun bir \u015fekilde eve gelen e\u015finin dinlenmesini ve rahatlamas\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flamak, yeme\u011fini haz\u0131rlamak, evi temizlemek ve e\u011fer var ise \u00e7ocuklarla ilgilenmek kad\u0131n\u0131n omuzlar\u0131na y\u00fcklenmi\u015fti. Erkekler sosyal alanlarda aktif bir \u015fekilde var olurken, kad\u0131nlar evlere, domestik hayata s\u0131k\u0131\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>Herhangi bir bilimsel dayana\u011f\u0131 olmamas\u0131na ra\u011fmen bu durumu bilime ba\u011flama \u00e7abalar\u0131 ortaya ak\u0131l almaz iddialar koymu\u015ftur: \u201cKad\u0131nlar\u0131n beyni erkeklerden daha k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fckt\u00fcr ve o k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck beyinlerini \u00e7ok yormamalar\u0131 gerekir! Bu y\u00fczden kad\u0131nlara herhangi bir \u015fekilde zarar verebilecek(!) etkinliklerde kad\u0131nlar saf d\u0131\u015f\u0131 b\u0131rak\u0131l\u0131yordu. Bunun sonucu olarak kad\u0131nlar\u0131n da i\u00e7inde yer alabildikleri etkinlikler k\u0131s\u0131tlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131; edebiyat gibi&#8230;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fakat planlar\u0131 i\u015flemedi. Kad\u0131nlar bu durumu kabullenip bir kenara \u00e7ekilmek yerine t\u00fcm bu zorluklara ra\u011fmen yaz\u0131n ve edebiyat d\u00fcnyas\u0131ndaki yerlerini s\u00f6ke s\u00f6ke almak \u00fczere kollar\u0131 s\u0131vad\u0131. John Stuart Mill gibi bilinen erkek yazarlar bile, kad\u0131nlar\u0131n birer yazar olmak i\u00e7in gerekli karakteristik \u00f6zelliklerden yoksun olduklar\u0131n\u0131 iddia ederken, kad\u0131nlar yazd\u0131klar\u0131 kitaplar\u0131 bu \u00f6n yarg\u0131lardan korumak ve okunmas\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flamak ad\u0131na kendi adlar\u0131n\u0131 kullanmadan yay\u0131mlamaya ba\u015flad\u0131lar. Virginia Woolf, yine ayn\u0131 kitab\u0131nda bu konuya da de\u011finmi\u015ftir. Tarih boyunca anonim olarak bildi\u011fimiz yazarlar\u0131n t\u00fcm\u00fcn\u00fcn kad\u0131n oldu\u011funu iddia etmi\u015f, 19. y\u00fczy\u0131ldaki kad\u0131n yazarlar\u0131n anonim ya da erkek takma ad\u0131 (genelde kocalar\u0131n\u0131n adlar\u0131) kullanarak kitaplar\u0131n\u0131 yay\u0131mlad\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6ylemi\u015ftir. Bug\u00fcnden bak\u0131nca \u201c\u00d6yle \u015fey olur mu yahu!\u201d diye sinir olsak da bu durum zaman\u0131n kad\u0131n yazarlar\u0131n\u0131n i\u015fine gelmi\u015ftir. Kad\u0131n yazarlar eserleriyle ve yaratt\u0131klar\u0131 kad\u0131n karakterlerle, kad\u0131nlar\u0131n da tutkular\u0131 ve yetenekleri olabildi\u011fini, erkeklerden daha de\u011fersiz ya da a\u015fa\u011f\u0131 olmad\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 kaleme d\u00f6k\u00fcp bir\u00e7ok erke\u011fe okutturmu\u015flard\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Erkek san\u0131lan baz\u0131 kad\u0131n yazarlar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bronte Karde\u015fler: Charlotte, Emily, Anne Bronte t\u00fcm zamanlar\u0131n en iyi roman yazarlar\u0131ndand\u0131r. En \u00fcnl\u00fc eserleri \u201cJane Eyre\u201d ve \u201cU\u011fultulu Tepeler\u201di Currer, Ellis, Acton Bell \u015feklindeki takma erkek adlar\u0131 kullanarak yay\u0131mlam\u0131\u015flard\u0131r. Kad\u0131n olduklar\u0131n\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131klamak istememelerinin nedeni, kad\u0131n yazarlar\u0131n \u00f6n yarg\u0131yla okunmas\u0131yd\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>J.K. Rowling: Harry Potter\u2019in yazar\u0131 Joanne Kathleen Rowling\u2019e yay\u0131mc\u0131s\u0131 \u201cgen\u00e7 erkekler, bir kad\u0131n yazar\u0131n kitab\u0131n\u0131 okumak istemeyebilir\u201d gerek\u00e7esiyle ad\u0131n\u0131n sadece ba\u015f harflerini kullanmas\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6ylemi\u015ftir. Rowling, bir ba\u015fka roman\u0131 \u201cGuguk Ku\u015fu\u201dnu yay\u0131mlatmadan \u00f6nce edit\u00f6r\u00fcne okuttu\u011funda edit\u00f6r\u00fc, \u201cBunu bir kad\u0131n\u0131n yazd\u0131\u011f\u0131na asla inanmazd\u0131m!\u201d tepkisini vermi\u015ftir. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc \u201cGuguk Ku\u015fu\u201d iyi kurgulanm\u0131\u015f bir dedektif roman\u0131d\u0131r ve genellikle kad\u0131n yazarlardan romantik, dram temalar\u0131 \u00fczerine kurulu romanlar beklenir.<\/p>\n<p>Kad\u0131n oldu\u011fu i\u00e7in ya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131 ayr\u0131mc\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 sizlere aktar\u0131rken, kendisinin de transfobik ve homofobik s\u00f6ylemler ile ayr\u0131mc\u0131l\u0131k yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 belirtmek isteriz.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sonra ne oldu?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1970\u2019li y\u0131llarda kad\u0131nlar edebiyat d\u00fcnyas\u0131ndaki suskunlu\u011funu bozmaya ba\u015flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Toplumsal cinsiyet rolleri k\u0131skac\u0131nda kalmaya raz\u0131 olmayan, anne &#8211; ev kad\u0131n\u0131 &#8211; ya\u015fl\u0131 bak\u0131m\u0131 &#8211; \u00e7ocuk bak\u0131m\u0131 gibi rollerle yetinmek istemeyen, m\u00fccadeleci ve hatta bir\u00e7ok alanda kazan\u0131mlar elde eden kad\u0131nlar erkek egemen sistemde halen bir tehlike olarak g\u00f6r\u00fclmektedir.
